Does a wedding require testing for corona?

The government rules are clear; a wedding ceremony may have up to 30 people present. This includes children and excludes staff. Guests at a wedding should always be able to keep 1.5 meters distance from each other. It depends on the location whether a mouth mask is mandatory. Ask your wedding venue what rules they have.
It is also wise to check what the wedding venue says about the number of guests allowed. It may have a maximum number of seats inside (at 1.5 meters distance).
Also outside it is not allowed to be together in groups of more than 2 people, except for people who live together at 1 residential address. The exception of 30 persons applies only to the marriage ceremony itself and not to a (spontaneous) gathering afterward.
The ceremony is for guests only. The invitation is the reservation.

It is not mandatory to have you and your guests tested, but, especially in case of complaints, a quick test can give a quick answer whether or not one is infected with the coronavirus.

Marriage as part of a religious ceremony

For a marriage ceremony as part of professing faith or philosophy of life, all the rules that apply to professing faith or philosophy of life apply. This means that there are no rules regarding the maximum number of people in a church, mosque, synagogue, or other places of worship. There is also no ban on singing.

Do you belong to a risk group? Then you are advised to be extra careful. It may be useful to have yourself tested via arapid test. This will quickly show whether you are currently infected with the coronavirus or not.

Reception afterward

For the reception or festivities after the wedding ceremony at a food and beverage establishment, the rules for the hospitality industry apply. It may be possible, of course, to arrange something in terms of takeaway food or a bottle of liquor for the guests so that they can have a drink at home, possibly via a lifestream.
A maximum of 1 person per day may be hosted at home and they should keep their distance from each other.

Staying at home in case of complaints

All attendees should stay home in case of complaints and get tested for corona, Complaints can be rhinitis, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat and coughing, elevation, or fever. It is also mandatory to stay home if any household members have a fever, tightness of the chest, or both
